If you have a little girl ranging in age of 2 to 10, you might consider hosting a ballerina party. This is a tried and true celebration that most little girls enjoy. Here are some ideas to keep you on your toes:
BALLERINA PARTY INVITES
This theme lends itself nicely to a lot of various invite options. The easiest of course is to mail out ready-mades as it. If you have a little time, jazz them up a bit with some glitter, ribbons, and ribbon roses.
Another fun and easy option would be to print out your party info onto a piece of ballet themed scrapbook paper. Place it in a pink envelope, add some confetti and decorate the outside with stickers.
Download a ballet slipper pattern and print it off onto pink card stock. Embellish one side with glitter, sequins, ribbons, ribbon roses, etc. and write all the party details on the reverse side.
Regardless of which option you select, be sure to invite your little guests to wear ballerina attire so they may twirl their way through the party.
BALLERINA PARTY DECOR
Define your party area with party decor. Pink and white are the standard ballerina colors, but other pastels such as lavender will also work nicely.
Adorn your table with a white tablecloth and pink runner. Add some ballet printed party ware and ballet or star-shaped confetti to jazz it up. You might also add a fun bouquet of theme Mylar balloons in the center attached to a vase of flowers.
Be sure to add plenty of streamers and bouquets of balloons to accent corners, window and door frames, the ceiling, etc.
Another fun add-on would be to create some ballet slipper shaped garland to hang around the ceiling, windows, mantels, and doorframes. All you have to do is cut out various slipper shapes from pink and white cardstock, decorate the edges with glitter and glue them to a long piece of ribbon. You can also add a ribbon rose to each slipper.
Place a tiara at each table setting to further decorate the table. Then when all your prima ballerinas are seated to eat, have them each crown themselves with a tiara and snap that pic.
Create a dance area for your little darlings to entertain the parents. Have some artistic teens design a little stage, cover the windows with pink sheets to block out excess light, and add some special lighting with white Christmas tree lights.
BALLERINA PARTY FAVORS
This type of party lends itself nicely to favors. Fill specialty ballet printed favor box or a pink bag with things like ballerina stickers, crayons, markers, coloring book, barrettes, body glitter, nail polish, lip gloss, wand, or cookies in star or ballet slipper shapes.
